Characters Luke Skywalker - Mark Hamill Luke was raised on his foster parents farm on the desert planet of Tanooine, with little knowledge of his future in the universe. He was told by his foster parent's that he was the son of a spice freighter navigator who had fought in the clone wars. Later he found out that his farther (Anakin Skywalker - Darth Vader), was in fact seduced by the dark side of the force to become a Dark Lord of the Sith. He also found out that Leia was his sister, and that they were separated from each other when they were born, to prevent Vader from corrupting them and making them become Dark Lords as well. So he was given to Owen and Beru Lars who raised him. Luke had a simple childhood, helping on his foster parents moisture farm. but he did become a skillful pilot in a 'T-16 Skyhopper' along with his friend Biggs Darklighter. He wante to join the Academy with Biggs, but his Uncle Owen kept wanting him to stay back and help him on the farm (in fear that if he went he might end up like his true farther). But fate worked its way when his uncle brought two droids from the native scavengers called Jarwa's called C-3PO and R2-D2. R2 carried a hologram of Princess Leia asking for Ben Kenobi, at Ben house the full recording was played asking Ben to go to Alderaan. Then Ben asked Luke to go with him and told him the truth about his farther. Like said he couldn't go with Ben, but when he returned home to find his foster parents murdered by stormtroopers looking for the droids he joined Ben and chose to learn the ways of the force. They got to Alderaan with the hotshot pilot and smuggler Han Solo and his first mate, the Wookiee Chewbacca in the Corellian Freighter 'The Millennium Falcon'. When they got to the position of the planet Alderaan they discovered that it had been distroyed by a huge Imperial battle station, the 'Death Star'. The Falcon was pulled in to the 'Death Star' by it's tractor beam, and as soon as Luke found out that Leia was aboard he planned a rescue attempt, as they were escaping Luke witnessed a lightsaber fight involving Darth Vader and Obi Wan Kenobi. Kenobi realizing that Luke would go on let Vader Strike him down and 'become one with the force'. The others escaped to the hidden Rebel base on Yavin 4 with the droids that contained the technical readouts for the 'Death Star'. When analyzed a weakness was found and assault teams were put together, Luke being chosen to be in an X-Wing class fighter along with his old friend Biggs. The battle was won by Luke using the force to fire his proton torpedoes that destroyed the 'Death Star' with help from Han. In the coming years Luke was a vital part of the alliance, he flew many missions and was given the rank of commander, and the control over the X-Wing Rough Squadron. He helped slow an Imperial attack on their hidden base on Hoth long enough to let most personnel to escape. Then seeking to learn more of the force he traveled to the swamp planet of Degobah to train with the Jedi Master Yoda. Yoda feared that Luke was to reckless and could be seduced by the dark side, but when Luke saw a vision of Han and Leia in pain had ignored Yoda's warning and traveled to the Cloud City on the planet Bespin. But it was actually a trap and in a fierce lightsabre dual with Vader Luke lost his right hand and his lightsabre. Then Vader offered Luke to join him but Luke dropped himself in to a wind tunnel and was rescued by his friends. Luke planned another rescue but it was for Han who had been frozen in carbonite at cloud city and taken to the gangster Jabba The Hutt. In the rescue attempt Jabba and lots of his henchmen were killed. He then returned to the dying Yoda who confirmed that Vader was his farther and said that he must face him. An image of Obi Wan then told Luke of his twin sister. Luke then helped in the attack against the second death star on the forest moon of Endor, where he gave himself up to Vader believing that he could bring him back to the light side. But he was mistaken and Vader took him to the Dath Star were the emperor managed to make him reveal the existance of his sister. This enraged Luke who viscously attacked Vader and cut off his right hand. But Luke then forsook the dark side so the Emperor attacked him with blue chain lightening and just as Luke was almost dead Vader sprung up and threw the Emperor down in to the stations power core, and reveled himself on the lightside. After this Luke helped in turning the Rebel Alliance into the New Republic. He also helped stop many other Dark Jedi and start his own Jedi Academy, but one thing was for sure he never stopped dedicating himself to preserving peace in the universe and helping the New Republic. |
